Does anyone know what "Jeaks Music" is? And is it safe?

I tried to download Emule and ended up paying a one of balance of 30-something pounds for it. But when it came to the download process i ended up with Ares Ultra and this toolbar named "Jeaks". But i haven't managed to get Ares Ultra to work and i'm a bit sceptical about this Jeaks thing as now every time i go on the net it comes up with a warning message asking whether i want to allow or cancel "updater.exe". Not quite sure what's going on. Can any one help?
