Lucky if you decrease the house edge that much by just playing basic the house wouldn't have blackjack tables. BJ is the only variable % game on offer these days and while casino operators don't mind you playing basic the tabe is expected to hold a certain % over a certain time. I think lucky is talking about a specific game it's 1 deck BJ with liberal vegas rules which I'm sure is not on offer any more.
