WHY do people insist on asking questions about a sick dog on here instead of going to the vet?

I've seen posts about a dog ingesting antifreeze..what should I do? GET OFF YOUR FREAKIN COMPUTER AND GO TO THE VET. WHY in the world do people whose dogs are potentially dieing take the time to come on here and ask instead of just calling a vet or going asap? Do they think we are all certified vets on here? It honestly makes me wanna jump threw the computer and strangle them... Questions like "my dog wont eat, whats going on?" is different.. but I've seen questions on here where a dog was seriously ill and they were asking what to do on here. ugh... people...
